A fold out card invitation addressed to Professor Sir Arthur Amies for the Official Opening of the Childrens' Dental Centre and School for Dental Nurses and Dental Technicians, Penang, Malaysia.
The front cover features an illustration of the Dental Centre with accompanying descriptions in Malay and English. The first inner page reads "THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH, MALAYSIA / takes great pleasure in inviting / ... / to the Official Opening of / The Childrens' Dental Centre / (School for Dental Nurses / School for Dental Technicians) / 3, Sepoy Lines Road, Penang / by / THE HONOURABLE INCHE BAHAMAN BIN SAMSUDIN / Minister of Health, / on Friday 8th April, 1966, at 10:30 a.m. / Please reply before 2nd April, 1966 to : / Principal / Dental Training School, / c/o Childrens' Dental Centre, / 3, Sepoy Line Road, / Penang. / (The guests are kindly requested to be seated by 10:20 a.m.)." The next inner page is the same invitation text and layout translated in Malay, however, Professor Amies' name is handwritten in blue ink. The back page is blank.
