 Description
The Dental Therapy School opened in 1976 under the auspice of the Victorian Department of Health. The ground floor housed the Department of Human Services.
The building had a 60 chair dental clinic on the first floor in which dental therapy students trained. Children were brought in by bus from local schools for treatment by 2nd year students under the supervision of dentist demonstrators to ensure skills were developed in treating children, fillings and injections for LA.
