This was marketed as a remedy for coughs, colds, chest complaints, bronchitis, asthma, consumption, influenza etc. Like Elliman’s Embrocation, it was advertised as being equally effective for horses.
Clear glass flattened bottle with rounded top, cork stopper with broken paper seal, label reads "Linseed compound trademark. Kay's compound Essence. Not intended for Infants". Kay Brothers Ltd. Stockport Great Britian.
Bottle contains brown liquid.
