Clear cylindrical glass bottle with cork stopper, sealed and unopened. White (aged) label with black text "Eosin Alcohol. Dr G. Grubler & Co Leipzig".
Merit red circle seal of Dr G. Grubler & Co Leipzi.
Bottle contains orange iridescent liquid. Eosin is the name of several fluorescent acidic compounds. Eosin can be used to stain cytoplasm, red blood cells, collagen, and muscle fibres for histological examination.
