Sir Henry "Harry" Letheby Tidy KBE FRCP (1877 –1960) was a British physician and gastroenterologist.
Arthur Rendle Short (1880 –1953) was a Professor of surgery at Bristol University and author.
Each year this review of medicine and surgery presents the opinions of leading British authorities on recent advances in therapy that have been reported since publication of the previous year's edition, the contributors include experts in all of the specialties. This publication includes an introduction by the editors, sketches of the principal advances made; a detailed review of the year's work, alphabetically arranged according to subject, with pertinent references; a practitioners' index to recently available pharmaceutical preparations, dietary supplements, and various appliances; a list of English and American medical books published during the year; a general index, with the most important subjects indicated in bold type, advertisements for surgical instruments and pharmaceuticals.
