Paper booklet copy of Frederic Wood Jones' paper, 'The study of a generalised marsupial (Dasycercus cristicauda Krefft)' published in the Transactions of the Zoological Society of London, November 1949 (Vol. XXVI - Part 5.). Dasycercus cristicauda is the scientific name of the Crest-tailed mulgara, a medium sized carnivorous Australian marsupial. This copy of the paper is inscribed by the author to Sydney Sunderland, Wood Jones' former student and succesor as head of University of Melbourne's Anatomy Department.
