Koala postcranial bones

Description
Disarticulated skeletal elements of a koala (Phascolarctos cinereus), collected in the field in Tarwin, Victoria on the 5th of June 1944. The bones comprise left and right humerus, twelve vertebra (including atlas), three carpal bones, and three digits with claws, articulated with dried ligaments. Skull absent. Two macropod mandibles are included in the box, presumably from the same collection event. There is dark soil adhering to most elements.
