Common diving-petrel pectoral girdle
Frederic Wood Jones (b.1879, d.1954)
Articulated pectoral elements from a female common diving-petrel (Pelecanoides urinatrix). Comprises sternum, left and right coracoids, left and right scapulae, and furcula. Collected by Frederic Wood Jones, possibly on the McCoy Society's 1936 expedition to Lady Julia Percy Island, as Wood Jones documents this species in his field report.
