On package printed: "Ayer's Sarsaparilla from the Laboratories of the Ayer co" includes description and dose. Prepared in Australia for the successors to the Ayer Company Mass., U.S.A by Rocke, Tompsitt & co. Ltd, Melbourne, Australia.

On side of package printed: " Ayer's Compund Concentrated Extract of Sarsaparilla"
In 1855 Extract of Sarsaparilla was placed on the market, ague cure following in 1857.
