Description
Dr Isidore Jacob Marks, a dental surgeon bequeathed £200 to establish an annual prize for the advancement of dental education at the University of Melbourne.
Isidore (Isi) Marks, one of the first students from The Australian College of Dentistry, established in 1897 at the Melbourne Dental Hospital. Dr Isidore Marks founded the Marks Dental Dynasty at 2 Collins Street; Sons George and Edward practiced there; George's son Ian took over the practice.
