Description
Compound monocular microscope (Watson) with accessories and wooden case. Has tripod base 5inch long body. tube with rack at back for course adjustment and a screw fine adjustment, revolving triple nose piece.

Case has sitting for three objectives (items) and 2 containers for eyepieces, oil immersion lense is fashioned to rear of case with tape.

Originally owned by Dr. E. A. Strahan. It was also used by his younger brother Dr. S. G. Strahan. He gave it to his nephew Dr. E. G. Strahan when he commenced his 4th year in 1936.Dr. E.A. Strahan had a practice in Carlton and attended Professor G. B. Halford in his last illness.
