In larger dental vans, two surgeries would be staffed by two Dental Therapists and usually one Dental assistant.

Upon graduation of The Diploma of Applied Science (Dental Therapy). successful students are qualified to be a licensed school Dental Therapist employed by the Public Service of Victoria providing dental treatment for children in schools throughout the State under the supervision of Dentists.
