As part of the Bachelor of Oral Health curriculum, students undertake a research project with a public health focus. Since 2008, in partnership with Oral Health Services NT, Melbourne Dental School Bachelor of Oral Health students have undertaken placements in Darwin and the Top End working as clinicians and oral health promotion with the support and mentoring from experienced dental and oral health therapist providing school dental services.
