Dental Therapy School matron Miss Dyson (later Mrs Fuller) was able to secure positions at education hostels for country students, Frank Tate, Minimbah and Redcourt which were all close to the Dental Therapy School. It was a wonderful opportunity for Dental Therapy students to join other country students who were studying a variety of courses.
The Dental Therapy School building located at 448 St Kilda Road Melbourne was opened in 1976. Under the auspice of the Victorian Department of Health, the ground floor housed the Department of Human Services.
The Diploma of Applied Science (Dental Therapy), completed over a two year period.
