The book was written by Adolph Berger, D.D.S who was an Assistant Professor of Oral Surgery at Columbia University Dental School, an Oral Surgeon at Vanderbilt Clinic, and Oral Surgeon at Beth Israel Hospital. He also wrote a book titled "Principles and Techniques of Oral Surgery"
