Description
Black and white photograph of Dr. Leonard B. Cox, who conducted research and teaching in neuropathology within the Department of Pathology, University of Melbourne in the 1920s and received an Honorary Lectureship in 1932. Dr. L.B. Cox later worked as a neurologist at the Alfred Hospital, but resigned in 1945 to take up the Sir William H. Collins Chair of Comparative Pathology at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. He later spent a term working at the Royal Cancer Hospital in London as Pathologist, and then became the Professor of Pathology at Leeds. This photograph of Dr. Cox is a reproduction of an original photograph, most likely taken in the 1920s, as the doctor at the time was a young man.
