Two amber phials remaining from an original set of six phials, containing "'Vaporole' Pituitary (Infundibular) Extract 1 c.c. 20 per cent" by Burroughs Wellcome & Co., London. Glass phials consist of circular foot or stand, tampering up to central bulb with a neck, with enclosed tube-shaped top, with black on green labels.Blue flip-top box with black lettering and instruction sheet. Included (but not necessarily part of set) are metal file to snap phials and a wrap of linen containing cotton wool.
