Description
Black leather fold-out case containing nine small glass bottles and tubes, from a set of ten. The tubes and bottles are sealed with cork stoppers; the two exceptions are sealed with a rubber stopper and metal screw-on lid respectively. This travelling pharmaceutical set was manufactured by Burroughs, Wellcome & Co. at their original Snow Hill buildings in London. Five of the original bottles remain in the set This pharmaceutical case belonged to Dr. Archibald Macdonald. Apart for the bottle of digitalus tablets, the containers are empty.
