"The Nurse's Aspetic Sub-Q" kit, comprising glass syringe and plunger with cotton piston, rubber grommet attached to nozzle with screw-on thread, metal and rubber needle cylinder, 2 metal screw-on needles, wire needlc elaner, glass tube with rubber stopper and ivory bakerlite case with metal fittings and blue label.
The company originally fabricated a range of parts for the medical and automotive community. During World War I, Randall-Faichney was awarded a government contract for the manufacturing of hypodermic needles, which spurred the company to focus entirely on medical devices.
