 Description
Black ink sketch entitled, "The Blow-out of the Medical Students' Society May. 13th 1902". The sketch advertises the closure of "the Old Room (at Rubird's)" used by the University of Melbourne's students and provides details of their final celebration at the Hotel, including a mock porgramme for the festivities. The sketch includes illustrations of a coffin (with a poem), cemetary headstoes, a grave monument, a skull and gin bottle as well as the artist, and is set within a black ink border.
