Description
Standard engine cable arm but fitted with original brass pulley made by either Mr. Harold Casson, Senior Technical Officer of the Australian College of Dentistry or by Mr. Wilcox, Senior Technical Officer of the University of Melbourne. The local alteration allowed four arms to be driven from the one electric motor by means of rubber belts. See Dental Museum collection item 1487 catalogue worksheet for a sketch of this arrangement. Was used between 1940 and 1963.
