Description
A replica set of six anterior teeth drilled and threaded on wire. Made by Dr. C. Dennis, demonstrator in Dental Prosthetics. An original set was held in the Turner Dental School, Manchester.
Teeth were wire mounted and prepared for use by the dental profession in the creation of dentures and prosthetics. They were used to No artificial teeth were available, so human teeth were boiled and bleached.demonstrate how early natural teeth were prepared for the profession.

These teeth were made for demonstration purposes at the Australian College of Dentistry in 1956.

Dr Clive Geoffrey Dennis DDSc (1925-2021) studied dentistry at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 1947, gained a MDSc degree (1953) and a Doctorate (1959). While studying for his higher degrees he was a Demonstrator in the Dental School and, when Professor Atkinson arrived in 1958, he was a Lecturer. He later became Senior Lecturer, Head of Department and took responsibility for the Cleft Palate Clinic.
