Black and white photograph of Sir Ewen Maclean, who was President of the British Medical Association in the U.K., 1928-29. Beneath photograph is the handwritten inscription, "Ewen J. Maclean President B.M.A. 1928-29." The photograph is a facial protrait of Maclean in middle age.

History of Object

This item was originally donated to the British Medical Association (which later became the Victorian Branch of the Australian Medical Association). The A.M.A. donated its historical collection of documents and artifacts to the University of Melbourne's Medical History Museum in 1994.
