Curved end plugger

Date
1760-1800
Description
With polished ebony handle and end curved at right angles. Probably made in the late 1700s. Part of a set of eight instruments. The instruments have not been identified from existing catalogues but are similar to illustrations in various texts. They probably pre date gold and amalgam and therefore would have been used on tin, lead and gutta percha.
